I am an advanced surgical practitioner for heart and lungs in a hospital within the UK. Recently, our family has suffered a tragedy that I strongly believe would have had a different outcome if the people involved had up-to-date knowledge and skills. This has become a driving force for me to establish this organization. I believe that every workforce should have the moral and professional responsibility to look after the welfare of those committed to their care - and the core of this is to make sure you are providing an up-to-date, evidence-based practice.
Based on research, there has been no push for continuing professional development in the Philippines, due to expensive training and travel fees. We hope to provide this service in order to slowly bridge this gap and help any individual who would like to continuously improve, professionally and personally. Our organisation offers free trainings and tutorials, utilizing the online platform because it is the easiest and most convenient mode of disseminating information.
Anybody can dream. Anybody can learn. Most often we just need somebody to guide us to utilise what we’ve got, in order to achieve what we desire.
